This writ petition is directed against the judgment and order dated 16.04.2025 passed by UP Public Service Tribunal, Lucknow in Claim Petition No.614/2025 whereby the claim petition has been rejected as being highly time barred. 3. The facts of the case are that the petitioner had served as a permanent employee on the post of constable for about 13 years from 01.02.1982 to 28.07.1994. According to the petitioner, he had left his job in the year 1994, but his absence from duty remained unnoticed by the Departmental Authorities. It is after a long gap of 24 years that the representations were moved by the petitioner on 05.04.2023 and 26.06.2023, claiming the pecuniary service benefits on the ground of service already rendered.
