This petition assails order dated 24 August 2023 passed by the Armed Forces Tribunal1 in OA 1481/2022 whereby the respondent’s application for grant of disability pension on the ground that he suffers from Primary Hypertension with 30%, rounded off to 50% disability have been allowed by the AFT. 2. This petition has been filed after an unexplained delay of two and half years. 3. Though this factor would itself be sufficient to warrant dismissal of the Writ Petition.
