This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to enquire into the matter and take necessary action regarding financial irregularities committed by respondent No. 5. 2. A perusal of the record indicates that the petition has been filed based on a complaint made. The complaint indicates that certain works were done in the year 2019-20 and allegations have been made that none of the works, as indicated, was done during the said period and the same requires to be investigated. 3. For the allegations pertaining to the year 2019-20, the complaint, for the first time, has been made on 23.12.2024 and nothing has been indicated as to how the cause of action arose after five years. 4.
