This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking to question the allotment of retail outlet dealership to respondent No. 5. 2. Submissions have been made that the land in question, which has been offered for setting up of the retail outlet, is owned by more co-sharers than those, who have leased out the land in favour of respondent No. 5. 3. The respondent-petroleum company and other petroleum companies have been rejecting the applications, wherein land with lease deed not from all co-sharers have been offered by the applicants and therefore, the action of the respondents in allotting the retail outlet to respondent No. 5 in those circumstances deserves to be quashed and an inquiry in this regard deserves
