The present writ petition filed in public interest brings to the notice of this Court illegal continuance of the contractual employees in the respective gram panchayats as Panchayat Sahayak/Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that all such contractual appointments are regulated under the Government Order dated 25.07.2021 which clearly postulates the term of employment beyond which it cannot be extended. The gram panchayats are acting contrary to the Government Order dated 25.07.2021 and one such instance has been quoted in the present writ petition.
