The sole relief that the petitioner claims is issue of a mandamus of this Court to the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Sasani, District- Hathras to decide his representation dated 24.04.2025. This Court in the exercise of our jurisdiction under article 226 of the Constitution do not recommend the cases of one litigant to the other for favourable consideration. After all, the petitioner and the Sub Divisional Magistrate are both litigants before this Court. Unless the substantive relief is claimed, in our opinion, this petition for a mere direction to decide the representation, is not maintainable. It is accordingly, dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to bring a fresh petition on the same cause of action but seeking appropriate relief.
