This petition purportedly in public interest has been filed by the petitioner seeking removal of illegal encroachment over the government land, which is said to be recorded as road, railways etc. in the revenue record. 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that except for making repeated representations and placing the same on record, the petitioner has failed to point out anything on record, which can constitute an encroachment. 3. Irrespective of the above fact situation, the petitioner, has a remedy under Section 26 of the U.P.
