Munir,J. 1. The petitioner has come up with a prayer to decide his application dated 21.02.2025 addressed to the "Ziladhikari Mahoday, Basti". 2. In the exercise of our powers under Article 226 of the Constitution, we do no sit to recommend the case of one litigating party to the other. Decidedly, the Ziladhikari Mahoday is also a litigant as much as the petitioner. The petitioner has not sought any substantive relief from this Court, complaining of encroachment over Gaon Sabha land. All that he wants this Court to do is to seek favour from the Collector for him, by "requesting the Collector" to decide his representation. This kind of a writ petition is not maintainable, in our considered opinion. 3. This petition is, accordingly, dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to bring a fresh writ petition, if advised, seeking such substantive relief as may be necessary. 4. This ord
