This petition, purportedly in the public interest litigation, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the iron gates from the Colony of B- Block, Pratap Nagar, Jagdishpura, Agra. 2. Submissions have been made that big iron gates at the entrance of the colony have been put up by the private respondents essentially to guard their houses, which is leading to inconvenience to the petitioner/those living in the colony and, therefore, the respondents be directed to remove the said gates. 3. Instructions have been produced that one gate has already been removed and that the rest of the gates are required for the purpose of safeguarding the colony from theft etc. 4.
