We have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate representing the State respondents. 2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the quashing of the First Information Report dated 13.06.2024, registered as Case Crime No.0285 of 2024 under Sections 363, 366 IPC, Police Station Ahraula, District Azmagarh. A further prayer has been made for issuance of direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in connection with the aforementioned FIR. 3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the dispute giving rise to the FIR stands amicably resolved between the parties. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. They have solemnized their marriage of their own volition on 08.06.2024 according to Hindu rites and rituals and out of the wedlock, one male
