By means of the instant petition, the petitioner has prayed for following principal relief:- "(i) Issue an order or direction under supervisory jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court directing the respondent No.2 to decide the release application dated 22.11.2022 for release of the vehicle of the petitioner bearing Registration No. U.P. 83 BT 1140, attached in Case No.202018210001144 (State Vs. Afsar Khan @ Badshah), under Section 15(1) of U.P. Gangster and Anti-social Activities (Prevention) Act pending before him within a stipulate period." 3. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer only to the extent that his application dated 22.11.2022 may be decided within time frame as fixed by
