The instant writ petition has been preferred for a mandamus directing the second respondent i.e. District Magistrate Gorakhpur to decide the Case No. 2581 of 2022 (Computerised Case No. D202205310002581 (State v. Vishal Chauhan and others), under Section 14(1) of U.P. Gangster and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act expeditiously within stipulated period. 2. At the very outset, Sri Shahnawaz Khan, learned State Law Office on the instructions apprised that in the instance case, the proceeding is already finalised wayback on 12.6.2022. Moreover, the Act itself is a self-contained Act, wherein the petitioner is having efficacious remedy to assail the validity of the order dated 12.6.2022. 3.
