The instant writ petition has been preferred for a mandamus commanding the respondent no.3 to lodge of the FIR in cognizable offence committed in the jurisdiction of the police Station Naini and Commissionerate Prayagraj and further provide protection to the father as well as family members of the deceased. 3. After substantial arguments, learned Senior Advocate submits that he would like to confine his prayer to the extent that the representation/application dated 16.04.2025, which is pending consideration before respondent No.3 i.e. Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj, may be decided in the light of judgment of Hon'ble Apex Court in Lalita Kumari v. State of U.P.
