The instant writ petition has been preferred for a mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to take appropriate action upon the application of the petitioner dated 8.5.2025 filed before respondent no.2 within stipulate period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. 3. After substantial arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would like to confine his prayer to the extent that the application which is pending consideration before respondent No.2 i.e. Superintendent of Police, Azamgarh, sent through registered post may be decided in the light of judgment of Hon'ble Apex Court in Lalita Kumari v.
