Present writ petition has been preferred for quashing the First Information Report dated 08.05.2025 registered as Case Crime No. 0144 of 2025 under sections 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 115(2), 352, 351(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (B.N.S.) 2023 and Sections 3(1)(Da), 3(1)(Gha), 3(2)(V) & 3(2)(Va) of SC/ST (P.A.) Act 1989 Amendment 2015, Police Station Babupurwa, District Kanpur Nagar. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that as the petitioner is already arrested in some other case, he does not want to press the writ petition and the same may be dismissed as not pressed and leave may be accorded to invoke the remedy as available in law. 4.
