The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Banti Sonkar, with a prayer to release him on bail in S.T. No. 02 of 2012 arising out of Case Crime No. 884 of 2011, under Sections 2/3 of U.P. Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities(Prevention) Act, 1986, Police Station- Kotwali, District- Pilibhit, pendency of trial. Apart from four cases shown in the gang chart the applicant has criminal history of 9 cases wherein he is on bail. The applicant has falsely been implicated in the present case due to police rivalry. The applicant is not a member of any gang. The applicant is languishing in jail since 05.09.2024. In case he is enlarged on bail he will not misuse the liberty of bail.
