The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Humaid with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 16 of 2025, under Section 3/5A/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 and Section 4/25 Arm's Act, Police Station- Bilariyaganj, District- Azamgarh. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that 5kg 500gm beef is alleged to have been recovered, but there is no scientific evidence or laboratory report is on the record to suggest that the recovered remains belong to cow progeny.
