The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Aabid with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 04 of 2025, under Section 3/5A/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955, Police Station- Ratanpuri, District- Muzaffar Nagar. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that no independent witness of the recovery. Offence is triable by magistrate. He next submits that co-accused, namely, Jahoor, has already been granted bail vide order dated 06.03.2025 passed in Criminal Misc. Bail Application No. 7999 of 2025. The applicant is languishing in jail since 03.01.2025 and he has criminal antecedent of one case
