The present bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant in Case Crime No. 499 of 2024, under Section 8/20 of NDPS Act, Police Station Kotwali Mandi, District Saharanpur, with the prayer to enlarge him on bail. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that according to prosecution version, the applicant was arrested by police on 29.12.2024 at around 2:00 pm and from the polythene bag, hanging on the handle of the motorcycle, 150 gm of illegal charas was recovered. The police failed to produced any authority, who possessed the said contraband. Even the motorcycle recovered from the possession of the petitioner was not displaying any number plate.
