The present bail application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of applicant Ompal, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 343 of 2024, under Section 8/18/29/60 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station- Bhamora, District-Bareilly. Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that 2.700 Kilogram Opium is alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the applicant. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the alleged recovered contraband is little bit more than the commercial quantity. In fact no such recovery was effected from the applicant.
