The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Chacchu Singh Alias Santosh, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 611 of 2023, under Sections 376, 504, 506 IPC, Sections 3/4 POCSO Act and Sections 3(2)(v), 3(2)(va), 3(1)(Da) SC/ST Act, Police Station Sumerpur, District- Hamirpur, during pendency of trial. There are allegations against the applicant of committing the offences of rape against the victim and criminal intimidation besides the offences of 3(2)(v), 3(2)(va), 3(1)(Da) SC/ST Act. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that there are contradictions in the statements of the victim under Sections 161 Cr.P.C. and 164 Cr.P.C.
