Heard learned counsel for the applicant, Ms. Gunjan Sharma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of High Court Legal Service Committee, High Court and learned A.G.A. for the State. There are allegations against the applicant of committing offence of rape of minor girl. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that mother of the victim has been examined before the trial court who has not supported the prosecution case. Since March, 2025 dates are being fixed for examination of the victim but she is not appearing. Applicant is in jail since 30.04.2024 and has no previous criminal history to his credit. Learned AGA has opposed the prayer for bail but could not dispute the above submissions.
