The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Vikram Majhi, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 78/2024, under Sections 376(3) of IPC and section 3/4(2) of POCSO Act, Police Station- Badagaon, District- Varanasi, during pendency of trial. There is allegation against the applicant of committing the offence of rape against the minor girl, aged about 14 years. Learned counsel for the applicant has filed supplementary-affidavit bringing on record the statements of the informant and the victim recorded before the trial court. Both have been declared hostile.
