The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Ramchet Nishad with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 94 of 2025, under Section 3/5A/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955, Police Station- Raunapar, District- Azamgarh. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that recovery of 16 alive Oxen, 1 alive cow and 7 dead Oxen has been shown, but there is no independent witness of the recovery. Offence is triable by magistrate. The applicant is languishing in jail since 22.03.2025 and he has criminal antecedent of 13 cases and the same are duly explained in para 2 of the supplementary affidavit.
