The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Anil Kumar with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 38 of 2025, under Section 3/5A/5B/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1955, Police Station- Saiyyadraja, District- Chandauli. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is owner of the vehicle from where six cattle are alleged to be found and the applicant has not been arrested from spot. There is no independent witness of the recovery. Offence is triable by magistrate. The applicant is languishing in jail since 15.03.2025 and he has no criminal antecedent.
