This bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been moved on behalf of accused- applicant, Merajul Hasan, seeking enlargement on bail in Case Crime No. 14 of 2025, under Sections 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 3/5(1) of U.P. Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021, Police Station- Kotwali (Maudaha), District- Hamirpur. Learned counsel for the applicant argued that the accused- applicant is innocent. He has been falsely implicated in this very case crime number and is languishing in jail since 10.01.2025. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that similarly placed co- accused, namely, Mohammad Haneef and Irfan have already been enlarged on bail of this Court by orders dated 05.03.2025 and 20.03.20
