The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Manjit Sonkar with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 65 of 2025, under Section 3/5A/5B/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1955, Police Station- Kotwali Chandauli, District- Chandauli. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is not the owner of vehicle in which cattle were found. Nothing incriminating has been recovered from possession of the applicant. There is no independent witness of the recovery. Offence is triable by magistrate. The applicant is languishing in jail since 22.03.2025 and he has no criminal antecedent
