As per prosecution story, the betrothal ceremony of the applicant with the victim was solemnized and pleasantries were exchanged. The applicant started coming to the house of the victim on the pretext that he is likely to marry her and as such, established corporeal relationship with her. Subsequently, the applicant started demanding four-wheeler and dowry, as such, refused to comply with the said betrothal, thereby leaving the victim nowhere to go. 5.
