The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Ashraf with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 71 of 2024, under Section 420, 468, 471, 120-B of I.P.C. & Section 5A/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, Police Station- Bah, District- Agra. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is driver of the vehicle from where 23 cattle are alleged to have been recovered. The applicant was also not arrested from spot.
