The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Raees with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 187 of 2024, under Section 3/5/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955, Police Station- Hafijganj, District- Bareilly. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is not named in the FIR. Applicant's name disclosed in the confessional statement of one co-accused. Nothing incriminating has been recovered from possession of the applicant. There is no independent witness of the recovery. Offence is triable by magistrate. The applicant is languishing in jail since 18.08.2024 and he has criminal antecedent of four cases criminal history and the same are duly explained in para 13 of t
