This bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been moved on behalf of accused- applicant, Rahul Kumar Yadav, seeking enlargement on bail in Case Crime No. 62 of 2025, under Sections 3/5A/5B/8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, Police Station Saiyadraja, District Chandauli. Learned counsel for the applicant argued that the accused- applicant is innocent. He has been falsely implicated in this very case crime number and is languishing in jail since 27.3.2025. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that there is no recovery of beef from the possession of the applicant. During interception, three alive animals were recovered.
