The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner for an area 0.0167 hectare out of 0.0560 hectare of plot no. 425, Village Basupur (Saidpur), Tehsil Saidpur, District Ghazipur. 2. The case of the petitioner is that an area measuring 0.010 hectare of the said plot was acquired by the respondents under provisions of National Highways Act, 1956. However, they have utilized an excess area measuring 0.0167 hectare of the said plot while constructing the road. The petitioner is entitled to be compensated for the said area. 3. Learned Standing Counsel fairly admits that the report of the Revenue Authorities dated 02.06.2022 supports the case of the petitioner. He, therefore, submits that the dispute be referred to the District Level Comm
