The present writ petition has been filed with prayer to direct the authorities to remove illegal encroachment made by private- respondent nos.5 to 11 from the land of the forest department i.e. Arazi No.267 and 271 situated in Village Bandhawa (Benauri), Tehsil Bara, District Prayagraj. Taking cognizance of the matter, we invited instructions from the respondents on the previous occasion. Instructions have been obtained from Divisional Director, Social Forestry, Prayagraj, according to which the spot has been got inspected on 01.03.2025 and various encroachments have been found over two plots. It is also stated that encroachment has been made by the petitioner also. A complaint has been instituted under Section 26 of the Indian Forest Act.
