The present petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents no.2 to 4 to release from acquisition an area measuring 1600 sq. mtrs. of Plot no.3947, total area 0.625 hectare, Village- Pindra, Tehsil- Pindra, District- Varanasi. 2. The case of the petitioner is that the aforesaid land of the petitioner was notified for acquisition by U.P. Awas Evam Vikas Parishad under Section 28 of U.P. Awas Evam Vikas Parishad Adhiniyam, 1965. The petitioner has executed a lease deed on 26.10.2023 in favour of one Shravan Kumar Chaudhary in respect of some part of the land proposed for acquisition. HPCL has sanctioned a petrol pump over the said land in favour of Shri Shravan Kumar Chaudhary.
