Petitioner had earlier approached this Court by filing Writ Petition No.35559 of 2023 which was disposed of on 11.12.2023. A consequential order has been passed by the Executive Engineer stating that though petitioner was entitled to the amount and two cheques were issued to him but since cheques were not encashed within a reasonable period and the budgetary allocation has lapsed, therefore, no further relief can be granted to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that if that is so the concerned authority can always seek appropriate approval from the second respondent for release of the amount once the dues of the petitioner are admitted.
