Allegation is that petitioner is a widow whose land has been encroached upon by the private respondents. Learned Standing Counsel points out that in between the parties a compromise had earlier taken place, whereafter a fresh dispute has arisen between them. There appears to be a private dispute in respect of possession and title over immovable property between petitioner and private respondent. Remedy of the petitioner in such matter lies elsewhere. Filing of writ petition for the purpose before this Court is not the appropriate remedy, at the first instance. Leaving it open for the petitioner to pursue appropriate remedy before the competent forum, this writ petition is consigned to records.
