Petitioner's application for renewal of passport apparently has been kept pending. Petitioner has already been acquitted in Case Crime No. 599 of 2008, under Section 147, 148, 149, 307/149, 504, 506, 427, 447 IPC and Section 3(2)(5) SC/ST Act, Police Station Rudrapur, District Deoria. It is, however, pointed out that based upon petitioner's implication in the aforesaid case, a criminal case i.e. Case Crime No.607 of 2008, under Section 3(1) U.P. Gangsters and Anti-social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, has also been instituted, which is pending.
