Petitioner is aggrieved by the demand notice issued against the petitioner requiring him to deposit Rs.28,56,112.54/-. 3. Various submissions are raised suggesting that the demand is arbitrary and the amount is not due and payable by the petitioner. 4. An objection is raised with regard to maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that in terms of clause 6.5 of the U.P. Electricity Code, 2006, remedy of the petitioner would be to approach the competent authority, which can examine such issue. 5.
