Petitioner had applied and obtained registration for running of a hotel business in the year 2008. It is asserted that the petitioner is no longer of desirous of such establishment and wants to surrender the registration. Applications have been moved before the authorities for cancellation of registration, but since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court. Learned Standing Counsel states that such issues can be examined by the competent authority, at the first instance. In the facts of the case, we permit the petitioner to approach the third respondent, annexing all materials of his claim together with a copy of this order within a period of one week. The third respondent would get the issue examined and after notice to any other person, who might have interest in the matter, proceed to pass appropriate orders, within six weeks thereafter.
