Petitioner claims that age of deceased is below 70 years, and therefore, she is entitled to payment of compensation under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana. Submission is that on the basis of incorrect construction, the authorities are treating the age of deceased to be above 70 years. Learned Standing Counsel states that in the event petitioner furnishes the age proof of the deceased, the authorities will have the matter examined, in accordance with law. Since the scheme is a beneficial scheme, we deem it appropriate to permit the petitioner to approach the second respondent alongwith appropriate materials, on the strength of which it is asserted that age of the deceased at the time of death was below 70 years, alongwith a certified copy of this order.
