Petitioner is aggrieved by a communication issued by the Deputy Director Agriculture, Ghazipur dated 15.10.2024, which records that under the scheme of agriculture department, the amount of subsidy for purchase of instruments would be made available to those who are engaged in the scheme. However, those who have already been provided subsidy for the purpose in the past will be ineligible to apply. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that under the scheme floated by the Government, there is no provision for excluding those who have already received benefit in the previous years. Learned Standing Counsel opposes the prayer made in the writ petition. The object of the scheme appears to facilitate the purchase of equipment for the scheme itself. Once the applicants have already been granted such benefit in the past, no useful purpose would be served in
