It appears that a claim for payment of compensation under the Disaster Relief Scheme introduced in the year 2021 is stated to be pending consideration before the State Government. It is submitted that despite repeated approaches made no decision is being taken. Learned State Counsel states that the petitioner's grievance would be examined by the respondent no. 2, in accordance with law. In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to represent her grievance before the respondent no. 2 alongwith a certified copy of this order, by annexing all materials in support of her claim. The concerned authority shall accord consideration to the petitioner's claim, noticed above, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned order to be passed, within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
