There appears to be a dispute of ownership between petitioner and private respondents, which is engaging the attention of this Court. An order of status quo passed by this Court is in operation. Grievance of the petitioner is that private respondents have removed earth by digging the plot to an extent of more than 10 feet without any mining permit or approval of the district authorities. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that grievance raised in the present writ petition is confined to the removal of earth from the plot without obtaining necessary mining permit or payment of royalty to district authorities. Learned Standing Counsel states that such grievance of the petitioner shall be got examined by the respondent no.2, in accordance with law.
