Petitioner asserts that a contract was awarded to it by the Public Works Department for maintenance work of the road from Chaubiya Kumhawar Marg Par Village Aipura to Nagla Dharam to Mohanpur Marg on 04.01.2022. It is urged that the contract was settled in favour of the petitioner and although the work has been satisfactorily performed but the payment against such work has not been released to the petitioner. It is alleged that even admitted dues have not been released to the petitioner. Learned State Counsel submits that an appropriate decision would be taken on the claim of the petitioner, in accordance with law. Without entering into the factual issues, we dispose of this petition with a direction upon respondent no. 4 to accord consideration to the petitioner's claim, and pass appropriate order as may be warranted in terms of the contract, and in accordance with law,
