It is alleged that the petitioner and the petitioner's mother are agriculturists and are covered by insurance policy meant for the farmers known as 'Chief Minister Agriculturist Accidental Welfare Scheme'. It is alleged that he is eligible for payment of compensation in lieu of unnatural death of his mother. Representation dated 26.11.2021 made in that regard, has also not been bestowed any consideration. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the competent authority to examine such grievance is second- respondent. In that view of that matter, we disposed of this writ petition with a direction upon respondent no.2 to ensure that petitioner's claim is got examined by the competent committee, by passing a reasoned order, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order before his office.
