Petitioner's claim for correction in his date of birth, consequent upon such correction carried out in the high school certificate, can more appropriately be examined by the fourth respondent at the first instance. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the fourth respondent annexing all materials in support of his claim together with copy of this order within a period of two weeks' from today. The fourth respondent shall accord consideration to the petitioner's claim in accordance with the applicable statute and the Government policy by passing appropriate within six thereafter.
