The petitioner wants this Court to interfere with report of Chief Medical Officer, whereby the age of girl has been determined as 18 years. According to petitioner, the age of girl is in fact 13 years. It transpires that an FIR has been lodged by the petitioner stating that his daughter has been enticed by some person. During the course of investigation of such case, a medical report has been submitted as per which the victim is found to be 18 years of age. What exactly is the nature of age would be determined in appropriate proceedings at the stage of trial. A writ petition would not be maintainable merely to challenge the report of the Chief Medical Officer. Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
