Grievance of the petitioner is that the State authorities without acquisition of his land over Gata Nos.1076 area 0.344 hectare and 1077 area 0.146 hectare, situated in Village Katra Kalinjar (Naraini), Pargana & Tehsil Naraini, District Banda, are proposing to make construction of a welcome gate. Taking cognizance of the grievance, we invited instructions from respondents. Learned State Counsel has obtained instructions which are taken on record. Its copy is given to the learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned State Counsel submits that initially, a consent was given by the petitioner for utilizing his land but since he refused to accept the compensation offered by the State authorities, the proposal to construct the welcome gate on the petitioner's land has been withdrawn.
