The petitioner wants this Court to direct holding of inquiry against Gram Pradhan and Panchayati Raj Adhikari, for the works done in various years. It is stated that the Committee has also been constituted. So far as allegation against Gram Pradhan is concerned, proper procedure for making of the complaint would be in terms of Rule 3 of the UP Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhans, Up-Pradhan and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997. No such complaint appears to have been made. The petitioner otherwise is not a person aggrieved and the writ has not been filed in public interest. In such circumstances, at the instance of the petitioner, we refrain from issuing any direction. The writ petition is consequently dismissed. However, dismissal of the writ petition will not preclude the authorities from examining the grievances on merits, in accordance with law. It is otherwi
