This writ petition is directed against the notification dated 09.09.2023 issued under Section 4-A(2) of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 notifying consolidation in Village Pali, Tehsil Goverdhan, District Mathura and the consequential order dated 08.01.2025 passed by the Consolidation Commissioner, Lucknow, rejecting the petitioner's representation objecting to the notification. The submission of Mr. S. K. Mishra, learned Counsel for the petitioner is that the notification under Section 4-A of the Act has been done against the consent of the majority of natives of the Village Pali, where the resolve was unanimous against it in a meeting held on 23.06.2023. There was a farmer's request to cancel the notification also that has been ignored.
